I am a Christian, and I also provide Pastoral Counseling.
Pastoral Counseling involves working with a person's spirituality. I address spirituality at the client's request or if it emerges as an issue in therapy. I do not impose any religion; I work respectfully within your religious or spiritual tradition. People from all faiths, including atheists and agnostics, are welcome.

Social Media Policy
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
1. Purpose of This Policy
This policy explains how I use social media in my professional role as a Licensed Professional
Counselor (LPC). It is important for you to understand the boundaries I maintain online to protect your confidentiality, privacy, and our professional relationship.
2. Professional Use of Social Media
I maintain professional accounts (e.g., Instagram) for the purpose of providing general mental health education, sharing wellness resources, and reducing stigma around counseling and mental health. These accounts are not a substitute for counseling services and do not establish a counselor–client relationship.
3. Boundaries on Social Media Interaction
I do not 'friend' or 'follow' current or former clients on personal or professional accounts.
I do not provide counseling or crisis intervention via DMs or private messages.
Please use professional contact methods (phone/email/secure portal) for clinical matters.
Commenting on posts may compromise your confidentiality, so please use discretion.
4. Confidentiality
I will never share or post client information, images, or testimonials on social media without explicit, written consent. Even with consent, I will use extreme caution to protect your privacy.
5. Use of Educational Content
Content on my social media accounts is intended for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a replacement for counseling, diagnosis, or treatment.
For emergencies, call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911.
6. Professional Identity & Contact Information
I hold current LPC Licensure for Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia.
7. Acknowledgment
By reviewing or following my professional social media accounts, you acknowledge that you
understand the limitations of social media communication and will use appropriate professional
channels (not social media) for clinical communication. If you would like to become a client, please send a message through my website's contact section.
